Boyd Solar Corp. is an Alberta-owned company headquartered in Didsbury, Alberta. Centrally located between Calgary and Red Deer, just off the QE Highway (2), we are ideally situated to service south and central Alberta, and beyond, we send systems to diverse places including the Noth pole.

Sean Lougheed:

Our manager, held his first management position at age 23 and has expanded his knowledge and scope ever since. He is a straight forward communicator, honest and dedicated to accomplishing goals, he demands the same from his staff. A true team builder; encourages and praises good work, progressive attitudes and accomplishments. He recognizes, utilizes, and develops people’s talents to the optimum. Very aggressive and swift in dealing with problems.

Sean works at being able to do, or at least to truly understand the job of every person in the company. This understanding of capabilities, boundaries and limitations of all parts of the company is key to quicker, effective decisions, less problems and higher customer satisfaction.

Leading by example and loving the outdoors, he has pesonaly planted over 1000 trees so far, although that more than offset his own emmissions, every year he starts and plants 30 to 50 new trees, and plans to continue this the rest of his life.

Sean is dedicated to making your switch to renewable energy easy, stress free, and only as interesting as you want to make it.

Erhard Hermann: Our chief designer with almost 30 years experience, who years ago became totally dedicated to renewable resources and having them work for Albertans. Erhard has a passion for nothing short of perfection (as his testing budget has demonstrated), backed by huge technical knowledge. It is his passion and expertise that makes your future power the most reliable we know of.
